Il velo di Maya
It is an art project in which through a personal stream of consciousness, I resurface in a dialogue with nature. A nature that holds together the original pulsation of the biological and the individualization and subjectification of the ego thought in a cosmic swarm.
This hiding of reality, this “Veil of Maya” placed over the world that we have to reconceptualize, defines the planet’s own limit.
We cannot limit ourselves to seeing ourselves from the outside, but living ourselves from within as a body.
As well as that strange action of plants where everything is porous, where everything is in everything. In the universal mixing those binary oppositions of the anthropocene are reabsorbed into a higher unity, it is the plants that act as the true mediators of the life of the world.
The vitality of life, upon closer inspection, is nothing but the living life of plants.
